A completely one-of-a-kind find. Bilt is a guitar that produces handmade original designs out of Des Moines, Iowa in the US. Every guitar is handmade, mostly to customer spec. They love guitars and are true craftsmen, building guitars for Ryan Adams, Sean Lennon and Wayne Sermon.
Unlike most Corvaire’s you’ll find online, this one was made without a pickguard to allow the black from the P90s and the Mastery hardware contrast more, giving it almost a vintage Gibson look.
This instrument was based on the body shape of the Ampeg AEB-1 from the 1960s. This Corvaire is absolutely beautiful and plays amazing. The Lollar P90s are a perfect match, they are incredibly clear, they make any amp sound like a cranked 60s Vox.
A lovely Bilt headstock that brings the colour palette together beautifully and features a beautiful curved model nameplate.
Hardware is top-notch Mastery. The vibrato is one of the musical vibrato sounds you’ll ever hear. Instead of diving it gives your playing a more subtle swirl that is beautiful. Witch Hat knobs are a perfect pick. Kluson tuners help keep it all perfectly in-tune.
