Caramel’s Guitar Kitchen V1 Black

We’re introducing new guitars to Soul Drifter Guitars with something a little special: Caramel’s Guitar Kitchen. Handmade in Fukuoka, Japan by craftsman Takeshi Katada, these instruments combine original designs with carefully selected components and individual attention to detail.

The V1 in Black brings together a distinctive V-line pickguard, three TV Jones T-Armond single-coil pickups and a Bigsby B5 vibrato. Its styling draws on the golden age of electric guitars while offering a character unmistakably its own.

Inspired by classic Dynasonic pickups, the T-Armonds deliver warmth, clarity and articulate attack. A five-way selector and push-pull tone control provide seven pickup combinations, giving the V1 a broad palette of sounds to explore.

An alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard form the foundation, with Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners and a Graph Tech TUSQ nut completing the specification. The black nitrocellulose lacquer finish will develop its own character with time and playing.

One of the first two Caramel’s Guitar Kitchen instruments offered by Soul Drifter Guitars, this V1 includes a CGK hard case.
