The E-TE-89ASM is Edwards’ take on the classic ash-bodied Telecaster formula—simple, direct, and built with the consistency that has made Edwards one of Japan’s most respected domestic-market guitar brands. Produced in 2023, this model captures the essence of a traditional Tele while incorporating the precise fit and finish expected from modern Japanese manufacturing.

An ash body paired with a one-piece maple neck and maple fingerboard delivers the unmistakable snap and articulation associated with vintage Telecasters. Notes have a fast, immediate attack, while the ash body contributes strong clarity and excellent string-to-string definition.
