Fender Japan Ken Stratocaster Experiment #1 White 2022
Fender Japan Ken Stratocaster Experiment #1 White 2022
This is a new Japanese-made signature model by Ken, who has been a long-time Stratocaster user as a guitarist for L'Arc-en-Ciel, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2021. The combination of the original white body, matching head, and gold hardware is designed based on Ken's image of "kintsugi Japanese pottery."
The elbow contour is minimally cut and painted gold, and the acrylic pickguard and control panel show that the pickup, control, and spring cavities are also painted gold. The thick neck, which was profiled from Ken's own actual guitar, and the stiff body with no back contour, are directly attached to the pickups "V-Mod II" and "Fat 50s", which are combined to achieve Ken's ideal sound.
This guitar is a reflection of Ken's personal style, with features such as a front and rear pickup blender, locking tuners, and a 6-saddle Pure Vintage Synchronized Tremolo, which are indispensable in recent Ken models.
Condition: Very minor imperfections, nothing that would be visible from afar especially.
Playability: Straight neck, no buzzing, almost no fret wear, action is comfortable, no issues with electronics
