Fender Japan Precision Bass PB-551 Decal Yellow Fujigen

Ultra rare 1980s yellow Fender bass! 

1985-86 Fender Japan PB-551 P-Bass in rare DYL (Decal Yellow) finish. A-serial, made at the Fuji-gen plant. Part of the Boxer series of guitars. Featuring split single coil pickup, black hardware and that beautiful “decal yellow” finish. This seems to be the rarest of the finish colours on the 80s Fender Japan Boxer series.

All stock! No mods, nothing added, nothing removed. This bass sounds wonderful and plays beautifully. The sound and feel are absolutely fantastic. 

Condition: A few light scratches, dings and chips (see photos), but nothing major and nothing that really stands out. 

Playability: All working fine. Pickups and controls and jack all working sweet, neck straight, and plenty of life left in the frets. Finish looking great too.
