Fender Japan Stratocaster ST-62-DMC Candy Apple Red
Fender Japan Stratocaster ST-62-DMC Candy Apple Red
I don’t know about you but when I see a Candy Apple Red Strat I think 80s-90s Gilmour!
Fender Japan's DMC series instrument are quite rare especially outside of Japan. A rare, top-tier model made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, this guitar features black bobbin Dimarzio single coil pickups, and premium USA-made pots and five-way switch.
The Dimarzio DSC-1 black bobbin single coil pickups are made only for Fender Japan and are wound to vintage spec with staggered alnico pole pieces and cloth covered leads. The five-way pickup selector switch delivers a broad range of classic Strat tonalities, with the clear and articulate tonal platform of a solid alder body and one-piece maple neck. The bridge pickup is sparkling and glassy, while the neck pickup yields throaty, powerful tonalities ideal for lead work, and the "in-between" 2 and 4 settings on the switch have a defined, snappy quack.
Condition: Some small dings or scratches, especially nothing that would be visible from afar. Two repaired dings on the lower part of the body that have been filled in and finished (see pictures).
Playability: Straight neck, no buzzing, almost no fret wear, action is comfortable, no issues with electronics
