Fender '52 Reissue Telecaster Special in Vintage Natural finish. A 'hot rodded' version of the classic '52 Tele, with specs designed as a nod to Keith Richards' famed 'Micawber' blackguard Tele. The Dragster humbucker in neck adds a whole lot of extra power without the classic telecaster twang supplied by the brilliant, glassy bridge pickup.
A beautiful Tele inspired by Keith’s Micawber, like a marriage of Fender and Gibson, working together as one but with this one you get a 6th string! Keith’s original Micawber was mainly used in open G tuning and didn’t have a saddle or nut carve for the 6th string. This one is obviously meant to act more as a main guitar and it provides all the tone options to do it. It features an easy, comfortable-playing neck and a great matte pickguard.
Condition: Some very minor dings and chips, only visible when inspecting in detail up close.
Playability: Straight neck, some minor fret wear, action is comfortable, no issues with electronics.
