Fender Japan Traditional 60s Telecaster 3 Tone Sunburst Seymour Duncan / Tom Holmes Mod

With the Fender Japan Traditional '70s Tele, the Japanese Fender Factory presents a first-class interpretation of the legendary Telecaster, which sets standards with authentic vintage specs and the chic custom finish. In terms of construction, Fender relies on an ash body with historically accurate lines and a bolt-on maple neck, the traditional "U" profile of the neck fills the hand and guarantees comfortable playability. Last but not least, the Fender Japan Traditional '70s Tele is equipped with the classic vintage-style string through body bridge and precise Fender die-cast tuners.

For the construction of the Fender Japan Traditional '70s Tele, the Japanese Fender Factory uses the traditional Telecaster construction method. Accordingly, the electric guitar has an ash body with historically accurate radius and lines, which in conjunction with the bolt-on maple neck provides the basis for the crisp and lively sound. With the classic "U" profile, the neck also sits firmly and comfortably in the hand, so that on the maple fingerboard with a 7.25" radius every note comes out of the hand as if by itself.

Now on to the fun stuff, this Traditional Tele has been upgraded with more than $500 USD in parts. 

First off, the pickups have been switched out for a Seymour Duncan SL59-1B in the bridge and a Tom Holmes humbucker in the neck. On top of that, a Fender Custom Shop neck plate, brass saddles and a new black pickguard to bring it all together. The body has been relic’d to make this one look like a player.

Condition: Body has been relic'd, scratches and dents to simulate natural wear, some fret wear in the low 1-5 frets, new pickguard required patching and drilling new holes (not visible unless you take the pickguard off)

Playability: Straight neck, no buzzing, action is comfortable, no issues with electronics.
