The founder of Momose (pronounced Momosé) received the distinction of Exceptional Artisan by the city of Matsumoto for a 50 year career building limited quantities of high end guitars and basses. These are among the best Strat style guitars, not only in Japan, but available anywhere. No expense is spared and the craftsmanship that brings everything together just jumps out at you the moment you hold it. 

The detail on this relic job is impressive. Not only the white base coat contrast but the beautiful checking you can see up close make this guitar look and feel like a trusted axe that you’ve had for decades. 

The Mojotone pickups create the ultimate strat sounds. Nice and springy but with plenty of low end, the neck pickup sings.

A beautiful strat that you have to hear and feel to believe. 

Condition: Minor dings and scratches on the body and a few on the neck. 

Playability: Straight neck, no buzzing, some fret wear, does not impact intonation or bending, action is comfortable, no issues with electronics
