Installation

Wiring your Sonic Nature LED Kill Switch is simple and straightforward:

The LED requires a 9 V power source and a current-limiting resistor (150 Ω recommended).

1. Connect one switch terminal to the hot terminal of the output jack.
2. Connect the other switch terminal to ground (back of a pot or output jack sleeve).
3. Connect the LED positive wire to the positive (+) terminal of your 9 V battery through the supplied 150 Ω resistor.
4. If using a stereo (TRS) output jack, connect the battery negative (-) wire to the ring terminal of the jack. This disconnects the battery whenever the guitar cable is unplugged.
5. If using a standard mono output jack, the LED will remain powered until the battery is disconnected or an external power switch is used.
