The Aria Pro II AQ-02S is one of the more unusual and high-spec models from the company's Musician Line, a premium Japanese-built series that blended modern Super Strat performance with boutique-inspired construction and appointments.

Produced during Japan's golden era of guitar manufacturing, the AQ-02S stood apart from many contemporary Super Strats by combining a refined natural aesthetic with premium materials. The body features a selected wood laminate construction paired with a maple set-neck, creating a resonant, sustaining platform that feels more substantial than many bolt-on designs of the period.

A standout feature is the ebony fingerboard, a specification rarely found on production Super Strats of the era. Combined with the 24-fret neck and flatter radius, it delivers a fast, precise playing experience while retaining a premium feel under the fingers.

Electronics consist of a factory Seymour Duncan SSH configuration, pairing a Duncan humbucker in the bridge with two Duncan single coils. This setup offers exceptional versatility, covering everything from articulate clean tones and glassy in-between positions through to saturated lead sounds and modern rock rhythm work.

Finished in Natural and complemented by gold hardware, the AQ-02S has a distinctly upscale appearance that still feels understated today.
