This 1982 Greco Junior-style model comes from the highly regarded early-’80s MIJ period, when Greco was producing some of the most accurate and best-sounding Gibson-inspired instruments on the market. While often casually referred to as a “Les Paul Junior,” this guitar sits within Greco’s EJR-series, their dedicated Junior-style lineup.

Built around a lightweight mahogany body and neck, the design stays true to the Junior ethos: simple construction, strong midrange focus, and a direct, immediate response. The TV Yellow finish has aged naturally, giving the instrument the kind of visual character that only comes with time and honest use.

Electronics are intentionally minimal, centred around a single P-90–style pickup in the bridge position. The pickup delivers the raw, articulate voice Juniors are known for—punchy mids, clear top end, and a dynamic response that reacts exceptionally well to volume and picking nuance. Clean tones are open and woody; driven tones are aggressive without becoming compressed.

A classic MIJ Junior-style guitar that prioritises tone, feel, and simplicity over ornamentation.
