Edwards by ESP E-FV-120D Vintage White Seymour Duncan 2014
Edwards
The E-FV-120D is Edwards’ Japanese-built interpretation of the classic Flying-V platform—simple, aggressive, and built with the precise fit and finish Edwards instruments are known for. Produced in 2014, it pairs traditional tonewoods with dependable hardware and a proven pickup combination.
A solid mahogany body and mahogany neck deliver the focused midrange and long sustain that define the V design. The rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth, balanced feel across all 22 frets, while the lightweight body keeps the guitar comfortable on a strap despite its dramatic silhouette.
Electronics feature a classic Seymour Duncan pairing: SH-1n ’59 (neck) and SH-4 JB (bridge). The ’59 offers warm, articulate clean tones with excellent note separation, while the JB brings tight lows and strong upper-mid presence for driven tones that cut through a mix. Together they provide a wide usable range from vintage-leaning cleans to aggressive rock and metal.
Finished in Vintage White, the aesthetic stays true to the traditional Flying-V look—clean, bold, and instantly recognisable. Gotoh hardware and Edwards’ consistent MIJ construction round out a reliable performance instrument built for both stage and studio.
