Burny FFV Flying-V Made in Japan Natural

Burny

$2,200.00 AUD

The Burny FFV is a Japanese-made Flying-V that stays remarkably faithful to the classic V formula, both in construction and feel. Produced during Burny’s strongest MIJ period, these guitars are known for their consistency, solid materials, and understated build quality that prioritises tone over theatrics.

The natural finish highlights the simplicity of the design and the grain of the body, giving the guitar a clean, utilitarian aesthetic that suits the Flying-V shape surprisingly well. The mahogany construction delivers the expected midrange punch and sustain, while remaining well balanced on a strap despite the angular body.

Equipped with Burny’s VH-series humbuckers, the FFV offers a clear, vintage-voiced response with enough output for classic rock and early metal, without drifting into modern compression. The pickups retain note separation under gain and respond well to volume-knob adjustments, making this a genuinely expressive instrument rather than a one-dimensional shred tool.

A well-executed MIJ Flying-V that captures the spirit of the original without excess branding or flash.
