Edwards

$1,850.00 AUD

The E-LP-92CD JS is Edwards' tribute to the iconic Les Paul Custom associated with John Sykes, combining classic Les Paul Custom styling with the powerful voice and premium specifications that made Sykes' original instrument famous.

Built in Japan, the guitar features a mahogany body and set mahogany neck paired with an ebony fingerboard, delivering the focused midrange, strong sustain, and fast response expected from a high-performance Les Paul Custom. The ebony board adds a touch of snap and articulation to the attack while providing a smooth, premium playing surface.

Finished in Ebony, the guitar embraces the understated but unmistakable visual style of the legendary black-and-chrome Customs that became synonymous with arena rock throughout the 1980s. Clean lines, premium materials, and no unnecessary ornamentation—just a purposeful rock guitar built to perform.

Electronics are handled by a proven Seymour Duncan combination: SH-1n '59 in the neck and SH-4 JB in the bridge. The SH-1n delivers warm cleans, excellent note separation, and vintage-inspired character, while the JB provides the aggressive midrange, sustain, and harmonic richness that helped define countless hard rock recordings. Together they create a versatile setup capable of everything from articulate cleans to soaring lead tones and authoritative rhythm work.

Finished with quality Japanese hardware and Edwards' renowned build consistency, the E-LP-130CD JS captures much of the appeal of the original John Sykes formula while remaining a practical and dependable working instrument.

A premium MIJ Les Paul Custom that blends classic aesthetics, proven electronics, and unmistakable rock pedigree.
