The E-LP-135 ALS/RE sat at the top of Edwards’ Les Paul Standard-style lineup during its production run. Built in Japan in 2011, it combines traditional tonewoods and long tenon construction with a lightly aged finish and premium electronics.

A mahogany body with maple top provides the expected Les Paul foundation—focused midrange, controlled low end, and strong natural sustain. The slim, modern neck profile offers a fast, comfortable feel without sacrificing substance, while the long neck tenon enhances resonance and structural stability.

This model is equipped with a pair of Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbuckers, complete with aged covers to match the factory relic aesthetic. The Antiquity set is known for its vintage-correct voicing: open top end, dynamic response, and a slightly softer attack compared to hotter modern pickups. Clean tones are articulate and woody; driven tones retain clarity and harmonic detail without excessive compression.
