Fender Japan Michiya Haruhata Stratocaster Caribbean Blue 2019

The Fender Japan Michiya Haruhata Stratocaster is one of the most striking artist models ever produced by Fender Japan. Developed for Michiya Haruhata, the guitar blends modern Superstrat performance with unmistakable Fender styling, resulting in an instrument that's equally impressive on stage and in the studio.

Finished in the stunning Caribbean Blue Transparent, the guitar features a figured quilt maple top over an ash body, allowing the wood grain to shimmer beneath the translucent finish. Combined with the pearloid pickguard and matching appointments, it's a finish that has become synonymous with the Haruhata signature model and is one of Fender Japan's most recognisable modern colours.

The maple neck is paired with a rosewood fingerboard and offers a fast, comfortable playing experience with a modern 9.5" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets. A double-locking tremolo system provides exceptional tuning stability, making the guitar equally capable of subtle vibrato or more expressive techniques without sacrificing reliability.

Electronics are where the Haruhata model truly stands apart. The HSH configuration combines a DiMarzio Air Norton in the neck, a Custom Shop Texas Special single coil in the middle, and a DiMarzio Fred in the bridge. This versatile setup delivers everything from glassy Strat cleans and expressive in-between positions to thick, singing lead tones. A unique push-push switch allows the neck pickup to be engaged alongside other selections, unlocking additional tonal combinations beyond a standard Stratocaster.

• Visual Condition:
  Excellent overall condition. The gloss finish presents beautifully with no significant dents or chips. There are some extremely light surface marks on the pickguard that are only visible under strong lighting, along with the minor signs of careful use expected from a collector-owned instrument. Overall, it has been exceptionally well maintained.
