Greco SS-90 P SG Princess Princess Grace Purple 1995

The Greco SS-90P is one of the most distinctive and collectible SG-style guitars to come out of mid-’90s Japan, built as a tribute model for the J-rock band Princess Princess and finished in its signature Grace Purple. Made in 1995, this model pairs a fully maple solid body with Greco unique Grace Purple finish, giving it a shimmering, textured appearance unlike any standard SG. The body is bevelled like a classic SG but denser and more articulate thanks to the maple construction, offering punchy mids and a fast, immediate attack.

The 3-piece maple neck uses a set-neck construction with a rosewood board, joining the body unusually high at the 22nd fret. Combined with its 12" radius and “Wide Oval” frets over binding, the guitar feels fast, comfortable, and incredibly stable. The Grace Purple theme extends throughout the guitar, with a matching neck finish and a Greco headstock inlayed with mother of pearl, giving the instrument a premium, unmistakably Japanese flair.

Powered by a pair of Greco Screamin'-KN humbuckers, this SS-90P delivers bright, cutting rock tones with plenty of character. Clear enough for chords to sparkle but with enough bite for leads to jump out of a mix.
