The SA-1000 Super Axe represents one of Yamaha’s most respected semi-hollow designs from the golden era of Japanese guitar manufacturing. Styled in the ES-335 tradition but built with Yamaha’s characteristic precision, the SA-1000 sits near the top of the Super Axe lineup and remains a favourite among players who appreciate understated craftsmanship and excellent tonal balance.

Construction features a laminated beech and birch body with a centre block, producing the airy resonance associated with semi-hollow guitars while maintaining strong feedback resistance. The Cherry finish keeps the look classic and understated, complementing the traditional double-cut silhouette.

A one-piece mahogany neck paired with a rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth and stable playing experience. The 24.75" scale length and comfortable 12" radius strike a familiar balance between vintage feel and modern playability.
